Dean Graziosi was born and raised in Marlboro, New York. He is the son of Paul Graziosi and Gloria Post and is the younger of two children. Dean Graziosi did his first business investment well over 25 years ago and has never stopped fine-tuning his craft.
Today, Dean Graziosi is a multiple New York Times best-selling author, entrepreneur, and educator. He has started or played a major role in over 14 successful companies that have changed lives all around the world – including the Mastermind.com platform, a project he partners on with Tony Robbins.
Dean Graziosi Overcoming Obstacles Early in Life
Graziosi’s childhood was difficult. When he was three, his parents divorced. He was raised by his mother and grandmother until he was 13, then spent his teenage years with his father. His family faced many financial challenges, including homelessness, and he moved more than 20 times before he was 19 years old. Over the years, he also watched as his mother and father both went through a string of unhealthy relationships.

HOW DID DEAN GRAZIOSI MAKE HIS MONEY?
Dean Graziosi has taken the lessons he’s learned and challenges he’s faced and turned them from his mess into his message. Despite—or perhaps because of—the obstacles he faced as someone with no college education and a learning disability, he started his first business as a collision repair center owner right out of high school. But he didn’t stop there.
A few years later, he stumbled across an infomercial for one of Tony Robbins’ programs, and it changed his life. He bought every book and course Robbins had, and as he learned, he realized that just like Robbins, he had experience others would pay for. His knowledge and experience was his inventory.
He decided to create a course teaching people how to make money selling cars. This was before the days of social media and digital marketing, so against the advice of his more-cautious family, he maxxed out his credit cards to pay to have infomercials made. He never gave up, and eventually that course became a success.
Graziosi then branched into real estate, buying a run-down apartment building and flipping it. This started his love for real estate investment and real estate investment education. JBB Enterprises, the company that handles his real estate holdings and manages his flips, is responsible for hundreds of successful real estate projects every year.
His biggest passion, however, continued to be self-education. Graziosi’s mission for over 25 years has been to provide self-education resources to people who are seeking transformation, fulfillment, and success outside the traditional education path.
